Living down the road from our Tirau factory, Eddie asked if we would consider partnering with him towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Being a local lad who regularly uses our products and had some lofty Olympic goals we were only too happy to have Eddie join our little team of Athlete Ambassadors!
1. When and how did you get into track cycling?
10 years old, my best friend Blair was in my rugby team and when he wasn’t at practice one day I asked him where he had been and he said he was at the velodrome. So the following day I went down there with him and raced, I won $3 and was hooked.

My teammates are the reason I get to training everyday because they expect that from me as I expect that from them. Together we have an opportunity to do something great but we can only do it together.

I draw inspiration from everyone, from work ethic, how they approach life and dealing with adversity.
